Credit Authorization

Understanding how credit inquiries work and your rights regarding credit checks.

Effective Date: January 27, 2026

1) Overview

This Credit Authorization disclosure explains how Credit Clique Academy Loans LLC ("Cash Advance – CCA Loans," "we," "us," or "our") and our partner lenders may access and use your credit information when you use the Cash Advance – CCA Loans mobile application (the "App") to explore loan options and connect with potential lenders.

By using the App and submitting a request for loan matching or financial services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclosure.

2) Types of Credit Inquiries

There are two types of credit inquiries that may occur when you use financial services:

2.1 Soft Credit Inquiries (Soft Pull)

A soft credit inquiry, also known as a "soft pull," is a type of credit check that:

  • Does NOT affect your credit score
  • Is not visible to other lenders or creditors
  • May be used for pre-qualification purposes
  • Allows you to see potential loan options without commitment

Cash Advance – CCA Loans uses soft inquiries for our initial matching process. This means you can explore your options without worrying about negative impacts to your credit score.

2.2 Hard Credit Inquiries (Hard Pull)

A hard credit inquiry, also known as a "hard pull," is a type of credit check that:

  • May affect your credit score (typically by a small amount, often 5-10 points)
  • Is visible to other lenders and creditors
  • Remains on your credit report for up to two years
  • Is typically required when you formally apply for credit

A hard inquiry may only occur if and when you choose to proceed with a specific lender's formal application process. Cash Advance – CCA Loans will always clearly inform you before any hard inquiry is performed.

3) Your Authorization

By using the Cash Advance – CCA Loans App and submitting information to explore loan options, you authorize:

3.1 Cash Advance – CCA Loans Authorization

  • Cash Advance – CCA Loans to collect, process, and transmit your personal and financial information to participating lenders and financial service providers
  • Cash Advance – CCA Loans and its service providers to perform soft credit inquiries for the purpose of matching you with potential loan offers
  • Cash Advance – CCA Loans to use third-party verification services to confirm your identity, income, and bank account information

3.2 Lender Authorization

When you choose to proceed with a specific lender's offer, you may separately authorize that lender to:

  • Access your full credit report and credit score
  • Perform a hard credit inquiry
  • Verify your employment and income information
  • Contact references you may provide
  • Report your payment history to credit bureaus

Important: Each lender's specific authorization requirements will be presented to you before you complete their application. You will have the opportunity to review and consent to their terms before any hard inquiry is made.

4) How Your Credit Information May Be Used

Credit information accessed through soft or hard inquiries may be used for:

  • Eligibility Determination: Evaluating whether you qualify for loan products
  • Pricing and Terms: Determining the interest rate, fees, and loan terms offered to you
  • Risk Assessment: Assessing the likelihood of repayment
  • Fraud Prevention: Detecting and preventing fraudulent applications
  • Identity Verification: Confirming that you are who you claim to be
  • Regulatory Compliance: Meeting legal requirements for lending and consumer protection

5) Credit Bureaus and Reporting Agencies

Credit inquiries may involve one or more of the major credit reporting agencies:

  • Equifax
  • Experian
  • TransUnion

Additionally, alternative data sources and specialty consumer reporting agencies may be used to supplement traditional credit information.

6) Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you have important rights regarding your credit information:

  • Right to Know: You have the right to know what is in your credit file and to request a free copy of your credit report annually from each of the three major credit bureaus at AnnualCreditReport.com.
  • Right to Dispute: You have the right to dispute incomplete or inaccurate information in your credit report.
  • Right to Consent: In most cases, your credit report can only be accessed with your consent or for permissible purposes defined by law.
  • Right to Limit Access: You may limit prescreened offers of credit and insurance by calling 1-888-5-OPT-OUT.
  • Right to Place a Security Freeze: You can place a security freeze on your credit file to restrict access.
  • Right to Fraud Alerts: You can place fraud alerts on your credit file if you believe you're a victim of identity theft.

7) Impact on Your Credit Score

Understanding how credit inquiries affect your credit score:

7.1 Soft Inquiries - No Impact

Soft inquiries performed by Cash Advance – CCA Loans during the matching process will NOT affect your credit score in any way. You can explore loan options freely without concern.

7.2 Hard Inquiries - Potential Minor Impact

If you choose to proceed with a formal loan application that requires a hard inquiry:

  • Your credit score may decrease by a small amount (typically 5-10 points)
  • Multiple hard inquiries for the same type of loan within a short period (usually 14-45 days) are often treated as a single inquiry for scoring purposes
  • The impact of a hard inquiry typically diminishes over time and falls off your credit report after two years

8) Credit Reporting by Lenders

If you accept a loan offer and enter into an agreement with a lender, that lender may report your account activity to one or more credit bureaus. This may include:

  • The opening of a new credit account
  • Your credit limit or loan amount
  • Your payment history (on-time payments, late payments, missed payments)
  • Your current balance
  • Account status (open, closed, in collections, charged off)

Positive reporting: Making on-time payments can help build your credit history and may improve your credit score over time.

Negative reporting: Late or missed payments, defaults, or charge-offs can negatively impact your credit score and remain on your credit report for up to seven years.

9) Withdrawing Authorization

You may withdraw your authorization for future credit inquiries at any time by:

  • Discontinuing use of the Cash Advance – CCA Loans App
  • Contacting us at support@creditcliqueacademy.com to request deletion of your account

Please note that withdrawing authorization does not affect any inquiries already made or any existing agreements with lenders.
